摘要The Grid Service Request Protocol (GSRP), a multi-pattern application-level protocol supporting session management and asynchronous communication, is designed to meet application requirements of Web service and Grid service. The GSRP consists of two layers: Message Transporting Layer (MTL) and Application Session Layer (ASL). The MTL controls the transmission procedure of packets on network channels, named as GSRP Dialog. The ASL manages GSRP Session, a cluster of related Dialogs to fulfill a task with certain pattern. Soft connection mechanism enables Session to maintain a persistent state, independent on physical connections. In a simple GSRP implementation, an extensible set of APIs and a transmission intermediate is developed, showing the power of GSRP.
